<p>PRODUCTION WORKER</p> <p>Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.</p> <p>We are looking for energetic, motivated and results-driven individuals to join our Production Team.</p> <p>Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30am - 3pm</p> <p>Pay $19.50 per hour</p> <p>PLUS $750 sign on bonus.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Stack and dump 55 pounds or lesser units of raw materials into the mixer. </li><li>Discharge mixed material into bags of various weights. </li><li>Pack and/or place taphole clay or plastic products into pails or boxes. </li><li>Heat seal or valve pack finished material bags. </li><li>Palletize bags of various weights and sizes. </li><li>Shrink or stretch wrap completed pallets in preparation for shipping. </li><li>Add water and/or liquids to wet mixer. </li><li>Occasionally operate forklift safely and efficiently as required after successfully passing required forklift test. </li><li>Clean mixer, equipment, and general work area. </li><li>Weigh bonds. </li><li>Perform labeling, and housekeeping. </li><li>Operate and complete warehouse movements using RF Scanning equipment. </li><li>Follow company rules and regulations. </li><li>Strive to reduce accidents, personal injuries, and potential hazards. Work safely. </li><li>Report all accidents immediately to supervision. </li><li>Report to supervisor of conditions that are believed to be unsafe or potentially hazardous. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong work ethic </li><li>Dependable and able to follow instructions </li><li>Good math skills </li><li>Ability to routinely lift 50+ lbs. </li><li>Must be able to read, speak and write English </li><li>Outstanding Attendance </li><li>Production or Forklift experience a plus </li><li>Must be at least 18 years old </li></ul> <p>Allied offers:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive wages </li><li>Health Insurance: medical, vision, dental, and STD, LTD.
