<p>Director of National Accounts</p> <p>Department: Sales</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Dallas, TX (remote)</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Director of National Accounts - MRO is responsible for leading and expanding strategic partnerships with key industrial distributors including Fastenal, Grainger, McMaster-Carr, and similar accounts. This role drives revenue growth, ensures contract compliance, and delivers value-added solutions tailored to each customer's operational needs. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, a strategic thinker, and a results-driven professional with deep knowledge of the MRO landscape.</p> <p>How You Will Help</p> <ul> <li>Account Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national accounts, managing executive-level relationships and driving long-term growth. </li><li>Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer goals and company objectives. </li><li>Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts; lead cross-functional efforts to expand product penetration. </li><li>Contract Management: Negotiate and manage pricing agreements, rebates, and service-level commitments. </li><li>Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to deliver seamless customer experiences. </li><li>Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, sales performance, and customer satisfaction; prepare and present quarterly business reviews. </li><li>Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and customer developments to inform strategy. </li><li>Leader: Lead, develop, and manage the Jr. National Account Manager and Rep Partner network to deliver growth targets and day to day account responsibilities </li></ul> <p>What You Will Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. </li><li>5+ years of experience in National Account Management, preferably in MRO, industrial distribution, or manufacturing. </li><li>Proven success managing accounts such as Fastenal, Grainger, McMaster-Carr, MSC, or similar accounts. </li><li>Strong negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and trade events. </li><li>Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis platforms. </li></ul>
