<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine Ship Building (SHAPM) Program Offices and supporting organizations: PMS 397 - COLUMBIA Class Submarine Program Office, PMS 450 - VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office, PMS 351 - Future Attack Submarine (SSN(X)) Program Office, and SEA 05Z - Marine Engineering Competency Domain. </li><li>TEAM SUB is a combination of Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), and PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS) and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office (AUKUS). The TEAM SUB concept divides the single submarine-centric organization into specific PEOs with the goal of enhancing the structures and processes in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Experience:</p> <p>Capable of performing the following functions:</p> <ul> <li>Apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. </li><li>Design products, machinery, implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, develop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology. </li><li>Analyze the impact of the products developed or the systems designed on the environment and on the people using them. </li><li>Work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality. </li><li>Estimate the time and cost to complete projects. </li><li>Typical Experience: 7 years professional experience in engineering. </li><li>Required: 10 or more years of experience in an Information Assurance (IA) or Certificaton & Accredition related field. </li><li>Required: Familiarity with Navy and/or Industry Standard Cybersecurity requirements. </li><li>Required: Technical expertise in cybersecurity engineering as it relates to design, deployment, integration, testing and implementation on/for Navy systems. </li><li>Desired: Qualification as a Level III Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) as defined by DoD Instruction 8510.01 - Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT). </li><li>Desired: 10 or more years of experience in an Information Assurance (IA) or Certificaton & Accredition related field. </li><li>Desired: Familiarity with Navy and/or Industry Standard Cybersecurity requirements. </li><li>Desired: Technical expertise in cybersecurity engineering as it relates to design, deployment, integration, testing and implementation on/for Navy systems. </li></ul> <p>Degree Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Desired: Bachelor's level degree in Computer Science or in a technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a U.S. citizen</p> </li><li> <p>A secret security clearance</p> </li></ul>
