<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Software Solution Architect will work with cutting edge technology, deliver high quality solutions across various local industries, and drive solutions with a team working on holistic software projects that range in size and scope, as well as receive continuous career development opportunities. This role will perform advanced technical design and oversee development of full-stack software solutions and lead others in those activities. This position will own and participate in consulting relationships with multiple clients and technologies.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <p>Software Design:</p> <ul> <li>Produces and reviews software and database designs that meet both business and technical requirements </li><li>Defines the infrastructure and services that will be used to support the solution </li><li>Collaborates with the client's technical team to gain agreement on the application design, database design, infrastructure, and deployment process. </li></ul> <p>Consulting:</p> <ul> <li>Gains a deep understanding of client needs and plays an integral part in defining and proposing practical solutions to meet or exceed client expectations </li><li>Leads consulting engagements with clients to evaluate existing solutions and define roadmaps to enhance, rebuild, or migrate the solution </li></ul> <p>Software Architecture:</p> <ul> <li>Instrumental in defining the software and database architecture for new solutions </li></ul> <p>Business Requirements Gathering:</p> <ul> <li>Leads client requirements gathering sessions and accurately documents business requirements </li></ul> <p>Implementation and Support:</p> <ul> <li>Development of mission critical application code, and framework components </li><li>Software deployments and ongoing software support </li></ul> <p>Other duties as required</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Leads a team of technical leads, and developers within projects to ensure timelines and deliverables are met </li><li>Oversees time reporting accuracy and the technical management of projects </li><li>Performs code reviews and ensures adherence to standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, required </li><li>Computer Science Major, preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Eight (8) or more years of application development experience, required </li><li>Four (4) or more years technically leading development projects, required </li><li>Professional experience coding with multiple software technologies, required </li><li>Six (6) or more years producing technical designs (artifacts), preferred </li></ul> <p>Software:</p> <p>Development Experience with two or more of the following, required:</p> <ul> <li>Front-end Development (AngularJS, React, .NET MVC, or similar) </li><li>Backend Development (C#, Java, NodeJS) </li><li>Web Design (HTML, CSS, SASS) </li><li>Database Server Experience (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or similar) </li><li>SQL Development Experience (Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures) </li><li>NoSQL Experience (Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, or similar) </li><li>Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS) </li><li>Business Intelligence (ADF, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, or similar business intelligence technologies) </li><li>Mobile Development Experience (Xamarin, Swift, Objective-C, or similar) </li><li>CI/CD Pipeline experience (i.e., GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Gitlab Runners, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Experience with the following, preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Cloud Technologies </li><li>Agile Software Development Experience </li><li>Experience using source control (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar) </li><li>Professional experience coding with Microsoft Development Platform </li></ul> <p>License/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul> <p>Language:</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul> <p>Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Able to develop and learn new and emerging technologies </li><li>Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) </li><li>Experience with Azure DevOps Boards or Jira </li><li>Experience within a consultative environment </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Must be open to travel to client sites, if needed </li></ul> <p>Keywords: AngularJS, React, .NET MVC, C#, Java, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, SASS, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, SQL, Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures, Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Azure, AWS, Business Intelligence, ADF, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, Mobile Development Experience, Xamarin, Swift, Objective-C, CI/CD Pipeline, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Gitlab Runners</p>
