<p>Position Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Location Type</p> <p>On-Site</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Responsible for supervising packaging production including labeling, packaging, and kitting of products on assigned line and verification of pre- and post-op activities and CCP's. Will assist in managing staff during sanitation activities. High paced job with attention to achieving standard productivity metrics.</p> <p>Essential Functions/Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>At shift exchange, communicate with incoming Line Lead all details including finished and unfinished work, any problems that happened, any missing tools, any safety issues, or any other relevant information </li><li></li><li>Verification of Pre-operation (Pre-ops) activities so production can begin. </li><li></li><li>Verification of Post-Operation (Post-Op) activities during product changeover and/or shift change. </li><li></li><li>Collection of samples to be sent for third party analysis per specific internal and/or customer requirements. </li><li></li><li>Verification of in-process Critical Control Points (CCP's), metal detection. </li><li></li><li>Ability to report any failures on H-122 Deviation Form and stop the line until it is brought back into specification. </li><li></li><li>Be able to communicate effectively with management about any problems with the line that might affect food safety. </li><li></li><li>Ensure the safety of all employees </li><li></li><li>Follow Work schedule/work orders </li><li></li><li>Check lot numbers </li><li></li><li>Check materials/bags, boxes, and Verify labels </li><li></li><li>Calibrate the scale </li><li></li><li>Operate the combi-scale </li><li></li><li>Track product waste and downtime </li><li></li><li>Manage a team of four or five employees </li><li></li><li>Make sure the line is running and on a continuous flow </li><li></li><li>Report any equipment breakdown, accident, or injury </li><li></li><li>Always communicate with the Area Lead </li><li></li><li>Responsible for counseling, coaching, and teaching team members </li><li></li><li>Ensure the entire team knows and understands their duties and job </li><li></li><li>Make SQF (Safe Quality Food) Standard and Lean thinking daily habits </li><li></li><li>Document all information needed for future reference </li><li></li><li>Attends necessary leadership meetings </li><li></li><li>Maintains excellent communication and relationships with other employees to foster team effort </li><li></li><li>Learn the duties of the Packaging area lead and be a backup as needed </li><li>Support the X3 Specialist with the materials ready to be returned to the PSTAGE area, properly placed in clean pallets and/or correctly identified boxes </li><li>Additional duties may be assigned and/or required </li></ul> <p>Personal Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a self-motivated person who can work with minimum supervision. </li><li>Must be a well-organized person who can work within deadlines and is a team player. </li><li>Must be able to delegate, follow-up, and maintain a positive attitude </li><li>Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude </li><li>Ability to adhere to schedule work hours </li><li>Maintain proper hygiene </li><li>Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions in English </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prior Supervisory experience preferred </li><li>Above average mathematical aptitudes are preferred </li><li>Computer experience is preferred </li><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 55 pounds regularly </li><li>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. </li><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA
