<p>PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for assisting schools with collecting, entering, and generating reports on student data for student support and meeting local, state and fedral requirements. This is a school-based, transient position.</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Senior Director of SIS</p> <p>SALARY SCHEDULE: 103</p> <p>WORK DAYS: 250</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Education Level: A GED or a standard high school diploma from a GaDOE-approved and accredited institution is required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Additional coursework in accounting or data processing </li><li>.Associate degree in Information Technology, business Administration or realted area </li><li>Experience, Skill, and Certification: </li><li>Two years of experience in data processing on an enterprise system. </li><li>Ability to enter data quickly and accurately. </li><li>Ability to learn new concepts, work with limited supervision, and meet deadlines. </li><li>Ability to work with frequent interruptions while engaged with multiple assisgned tasks. </li><li>Ability to work in teams adn express ideas clearly in both written and oral communication. </li><li>Required to score 90% or higher on a pre-employment Data Entry Skills test. </li><li>Required to complete Data Ethics course and pass assessment with a score of 90% or higher within two months of employment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred: Knowledge and understanding of student data systems</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Collects, inputs, updates, and verifies student data accuracy for local, state adn fedral reports. </li><li>Assists and also serves as substitute for School Information Specalist as needed. </li><li>Maintains a high level of confidentiality in the administration of all student information. </li><li>Generates and manipulates ad hoc reports as needed by school adn district level staff. </li><li>Supports studetn systems training as needed </li><li>Conducts regular data integrity checks to ensure accurate and reliable data on student systems. </li><li>Supports and follows up with teach concering attendance and grade posting. </li><li>Performs other duties as necessary for organizational effectivness. </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT</p> <p>Incumbents will be considered "at will." Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and allowable experience. This is a 250-day position. There will be prolonged periods of standing or walking, and there may be frequent bending, stooping, or stretching. There are occasions that require the lifting or pulling of equipment or supplies. Reading, listening, writing, and speaking are requirements.
