Our health center provides same-day primary care services to every member of the community, regardless of life situation or ability to pay. We also provide a wide array of behavioral health services.</p> <p>Our community Health Care Centers are located at 281 Main St. East Hartford, 16 Coventry St. Hartford and 828 Sullivan Ave., South Windsor. InterCommunity's Addiction Services offers a similarly wide range of substance use treatment and recovery-supportive services, with many sites in the Hartford area.</p> <p>We provide services across the spectrum of care, including primary care, residential detoxification and substance use treatment, multiple levels of residential care, outpatient substance use disorder and mental health services for adults and children, intensive outpatient programs, employment and community support, mobile crisis evaluations, judicial support services and social rehabilitation. Benefits are effective on the first day of the month following date of hire.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Work Life-Balance-Flexibility, generous Paid PTO, and paid holidays. </li><li>Health & Dental insurance- with flexible contribution options to include 2 HDHP w/ HSA contribution at no cost premium or non-HDHP at a minimal cost to employees. </li><li>Voluntary vision. </li><li>STD, LTD & Disability coverage - employer paid. </li><li>Basic Life & AD&D employer paid. </li><li>Supplemental Life Insurance available. </li><li>401(k) with 3% employer match and 3% employer give after 12 months and 1,000 hours worked. </li><li>Career advancement opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Accountable for independently providing trauma informed clinical services.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide trauma informed clinical services in form of triage, crisis intervention, assessment, individual, group and/or family therapy, screening, treatment planning and referral within a multidisciplinary team and departmental coverage for staff absences </li><li>Complete all required documentation related to client treatment in accordance with established procedures </li><li>Provide coordination of care and referral with other community agencies i.e. hospitals, emergency rooms, jails, homeless shelters, outpatient programs, etc.) and consults and collaborates with other behavioral/ medical health providers. </li><li>Meet productivity standard for the position and role </li><li>Attendance and participation in all required departmental staff meetings, all provider meetings, supervision including peer meetings including but not limited to systems feedback, problem solving and support for development protocols which enhance service delivery. </li><li>Participation in trainings to bring new service delivery options to clinical care (i.e. EMDR, ART etc.) </li><li>Program development (new groups, new models of treatment, evidence-based practices) </li><li>Internal capacity building (i.e. staff embedded in schools, community outreach and education) </li><li>Perform related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM</p> <ul> <li>All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings* </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education &/Or Experience:</p> <p>Clinician II: Master's Degree in Behavioral Health discipline from an Accredited University and advanced Licensure in the State of Connecticut as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 2 years experience in recovery orientated system of care in a behavioral health setting.</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Specialized knowledge in Behavioral Health and Alcohol and Drug use Disorders treatment </li><li>Decision Making </li><li>Initiative </li><li>Time Management </li><li>Team Work </li><li>Communication Proficiency (Verbal & Written) </li><li>Technology & Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Keyboarding) </li><li>Organization Skills </li></ul>
