<p>Position Summary/Department Summary:</p> <p>The BCH Outpatient Psychiatry Service offers comprehensive evaluations for a wide range of conditions that affect the mental, emotional, and social health of children and adolescents. New patients receive a diagnostic evaluation and specific treatment recommendations tailored to the child and family. We are currently seeking a 40-hour experienced social work to join our team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families cope with complex personal, family, medical and environmental problems. </li><li>Performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans. </li><li>Providing clinical supervision to student interns. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Social Work </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years plus of Social Work experience required </li><li>Experience with children/adolescents and medical environment is highly desirable. </li><li>Previous social work supervisory experience ideal. </li><li>Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment. </li><li>Spanish language skills strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Licensure/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>LICSW in the state of MA </li></ul> <p>This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus!</p> <p>Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, childcare and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
