<p>Job Duties:</p> <p>Alcohol Monitoring Systems, Inc. dba SCRAM Systems has opening for Electrical Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO. Participate in new designs as well as sustaining efforts to maintain and improve the performance and reliability of existing wearable consumer electronics products. Investigate replacements for obsolete and 'end of life' components. Cross-functionally participate in failure analysis / investigations to find the root-cause of production and field failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and manufacturing to address product issues, implement design changes, and resolve technical challenges. Develop and execute electrical verification test plans to validate product designs, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Analyze test results, troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide recommendations for design improvements and optimization. Create documentation including test procedures, reports, and specifications to support product development and manufacturing processes.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an electrical engineer-related occupation.</p> <p>Experience must include:</p> <ul> <li>Altium Enterprise for schematic capture and PCB layout to support sustaining efforts; </li><li>Electrical design tools, such as CAD software (e.g., Altium Enterprise) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE); </li><li>Application of embedded microcontrollers. MSP430, ARM7, and STM32 microcontroller experience and IAR, KEIL development environments; </li><li>Electrical engineering principles, analog circuit design, and PCB layout; </li><li>C and assembly language programming; </li><li>Proficiency in using various development tools and instruments, such as oscilloscopes, meters, SPI bus analyzers, Pspice, packet sniffers, emulators, JTAG debugging interfaces, logic analyzers, function generators; </li><li>Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to wearable consumer electronics products; and </li><li>Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly and concisely. </li></ul>
