You'll build the infrastructure that enables AI to coordinate across tools, memory systems, and multi-agent workflows-powering adaptive experiences on laptops, mobile, tablets, and cloud.</p> <p>In this role you will master technologies, such as, LangChain/LangGraph, AutoGen, MCP servers, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), workflow orchestration, Kubernetes, edge deployment</p> <p>We recently introduced Qira, our new cross-device Personal AI that works seamlessly across Lenovo and Motorola products. More information can be found here: https://news.lenovo.com/pressroom/press-releases/lenovo-unveils-lenovo-and-motorola-qira/</p> <p>Location: Chicago, IL,</p> <p>Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement agentic orchestration frameworks using LangChain, LangGraph and also potentially build custom frameworks. </li><li>Build tool integration ecosystems using existing standards for function calling & Model Context Protocol (MCP). </li><li>Architect multi-agent collaboration systems with distributed reasoning, planning, and execution capabilities </li><li>Create memory and context management systems that enable long-term agent coherence and personalization </li><li>Develop evaluation frameworks for agent reliability, safety, and performance </li><li>Lead a team of engineers while collaborating with research, product, and platform teams </li><li>Drive the technical roadmap for agentic AI-from prompt orchestration to autonomous system design </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>7+ years in AI/ML systems, with 3+ years focused on LLM applications or agent frameworks. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. </li><li>Experience with agentic AI architectures: planning, reasoning, tool use, memory systems. </li><li>Experience building production AI systems at scale with robust error handling and observability. </li><li>Experience with Python, Java, Kotlin, async programming, and/or API design. </li><li>Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and/or LLM orchestration patterns. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Penchant for performance optimization and ability to think out of the box to solve hard problems. </li><li>Excitement about the agentic AI revolution-Salesforce Agentforce, autonomous workflows, AI-native products </li></ul> <p>The base salary budgeted range for this position is $180K-$220K.
