<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Performs, restores, and guides teammates in repairing, maintaining, and building dedicated and prototype tooling.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains and services dies </li><li>Builds and repairs specialty tools and fixtures </li><li>Analyzes tool, die and fixture problems and coordinates corrective action </li><li>Designs and creates part holding solutions </li><li>Collaborates with engineers about print designs and area work </li><li>Coordinates tool maintenance activities (Tool Preventative Maintenance - TPM) </li><li>Documents tool maintenance and compliance records </li><li>Specifies and orders required components and services </li><li>Collaborates with cross functional teams including operations support, production engineering, product development and external tooling vendors on tool, die and fixture solutions and maintains project schedules </li><li>Participates in continuous improvement activities </li><li>Prints and sketches reading </li></ul> <p>SECONDARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Works with Creo/GD&T </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>High school diploma and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicable tool room or machining experience desired.</p> <p>COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of tools, dies and fixtures </li><li>Good communication (written & verbal) and organizational ability </li><li>Manual Machine, CNC & Surface Grinders experience </li><li>Computer software (Office, Agile PLM, etc.) experience </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul>
