<p>About Us:</p> <p>Coilcraft, Inc. is a successful, privately-held company with a worldwide reputation for manufacturing high-quality passive electronic components.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate various types of machine tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, etc., selecting proper feeds and speeds </li><li>Work from drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to make components </li><li>Work to close tolerances </li><li>Use precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work </li><li>Perform hand operations such as filing, fitting, tapping, etc. </li><li>Keep work area and equipment clean </li><li>Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization. </li><li>And other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Must be an active student enrolled in a machinist program at an accredited college </li><li>Mechanical aptitude </li><li>Basic mathematic skills </li><li>Some knowledge of precision measuring devices preferred </li><li>Some knowledge of reading blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings preferred </li><li>Some knowledge of Machine Shop practices is a plus </li><li>Attention to detail a must </li><li>Safety minded </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - vets, disability</p>
