<p>BENEFITS:</p> <p>Health, dental, vision</p> <p>vacation and sick time</p> <p>4% 403(b) match after 2 years</p> <p>company paid life insurance and long term disability</p> <p>Public Service Loan Forgiveness</p> <p>You may be able to receive help in paying your college loans off through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program due to working for Reach Dane</p> <p>POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS:</p> <p>Hours: 40 hours/week</p> <p>Status: Full Year</p> <p>Annual Salary $66,560.00</p> <p>Location: South Madison - 3201 Latham Drive, Madison</p> <p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Multi-Classroon Director is responsible for directing one of Reach Dane larger sites that has multiple classrooms for ages 0 to 5. The position will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourage their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. The Multi-Site Director will follow Head Start performance standards, Reach Dane work plans, policies and procedures, city of Madison and NAEYC Accreditation criteria (if applicable). The Multi-Site Director will provide supervision and performance feedback for reporting staff.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Required </li><li>Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, or Child Development Preferred; other related degrees will be considered </li><li>Registry Level 14 </li><li>DPI certification in ECE or ECEEN or related DPI cert. or the ability to become DPI certified is desirable </li><li>Extensive experience in the management of Early Childhood programming </li><li>The Multi-Site Director will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for enrolled children living in low-income, at-risk environments </li><li>Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, Wisconsin Day Care Licensing requirements, Creative Curriculum, Early Childhood Accreditation, teaching competencies and curricula, parent-child relations, and family support environments </li><li>Extensive experience in successful supervision, staff training and development, and in leadership and advocacy </li><li>Knowledge of and experience with infant/toddler and family child care programming </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Experience with and sensitivity to low-income and families of diverse cultures </li><li>Knowledge of and experience in special education is desirable </li><li>Experience managing subsidized childcare </li><li>At least 1 year experience in an early care education setting; experience teaching preschool children means completion of supervised student teaching or experience as a preschool teacher in a licensed program or employment as a public school preschool teacher </li><li>At least 2 years of successful supervisory experience </li><li>Successfully complete a TB test upon hiring </li><li>Must have a valid Wisconsins Drivers License, motor vehicle and adequate liability insurance </li><li>Must be willing to fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with the agencys mission </li><li>Preferred bilingual, particularly Hmong and / or Spanish </li><li>Must secure Registry certificate within 90 days of employment </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
