This role focuses on helping students in grades 9-12 using our Chinese Online Course.If you are passionate about helping students learn Chinese and have the qualifications to support our educational team, we would love to hear from you!</p> <p>TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assist teachers in delivering instruction in Chinese engaging through ZOOM. </li><li>Support students in understanding course materials and concepts. </li><li>Provide additional resources and practice exercises to enhance language skills. </li><li>Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and teachers. </li><li>Facilitate communication between students and teachers to ensure a smooth learning experience. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Fluency in the Chinese language (both spoken and written). </li><li>Strong communication skills in English. </li><li>Experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus. </li><li>Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. </li></ul> <p>EMPLOYMENT TERMS:</p> <ul> <li>Part-time/ Up to 15 hours per week. </li></ul> <p>SALARY: $40.00 per hour</p> <p>New London Public School District is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.</p> <p>Candidates from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply.</p>
