We each commit to making Tanner Health System a great place for our employees to work, for patients to receive care and for physicians to practice medicine.</p> <p>Functions</p> <p>Area of Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepares for medical procedures by obtaining medical histories and explaining proposes and procedures of the test to be performed. </li><li>Conducts electroencephalographic testing and evaluate patterns formed by the brain to assist in the diagnosis of epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, or other brain lesions. </li><li>Assist in nerve conduction studies to evaluate electrical potentials from peripheral nerve. </li><li>Conducts polysomnograms to identify, evaluate dysfunction in the sleep wake cycles and breathing disorders or arrhythmias during sleep. </li><li>Conducts electronystamograms measuring electrical potentials from the eyes to determine between inner ear disfunctions and central nervous system involvement. </li><li>Oversees proper operation and maintenance of equipment. </li><li>Keeps proper records of tests, results, diagnosis and subsequent patient treatment. </li><li>Assists Sleep Lab staff with scheduling of appointments for both Sleep and EEG patients </li><li>Assists Sleep Lab staff with distribution and intake of home study testing equipment. Employee will NOT be responsible or take part in the scoring of sleep exams. </li><li>Provides exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and other employees.
