<p>Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Boston, MA. You will support enterprise logging and monitoring by developing dashboards, reports, and correlating log data to improve operational visibility.</p> <p>Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Engineer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Developing Splunk dashboards, reports, and log correlation searches to enhance visibility and support operational analytics.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitoring platform health, ensuring log ingestion quality, and maintaining continuous observability across enterprise systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting incident triage and remediation activities by analyzing correlated log data and executing established SOPs.</p> </li><li> <p>Operationalizing the Splunk platform through documentation, process creation, and maintenance of monitoring standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Participating in use-case development by gathering requirements, building detection logic, and validating output with stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project deliverables, improve logging strategies, and communicate findings effectively.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.</p> </li><li> <p>6-8 years of experience in logging, monitoring, and operational support, with strong hands-on exposure to Splunk.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience developing Splunk dashboards, reports, and log correlation workflows, along with operationalizing the platform through SOPs, triage, and incident remediation.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience in use-case development, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering project-based work.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
