<p>Potomac School District #11 is seeking applicants for a 20-hour* per week Paraprofessional, at an hourly salary of $13.52/hour. Essential functions of this position include assisting instructional personnel, assisting in the presentation of learning materials, monitoring students in structured and unstructured settings, assisting students with personal hygiene, assisting in maintaining a variety of reports and records, performing clerical duties, and other duties as assigned. Must have an interest and willingness to work with special needs populations, including students with cognitive delays, non-verbal, and other complex needs, as well as students on behavioral plans.</p> <ul> <li>Applicants seeking full-time employment are encouraged to apply, as there is the possibility of supplementing this position with Title I supports and funding. We serve about 80 students K-8 in a four-day week format. Our special education program has a total case load currently of about 14 students in grades K-8. Our special education teacher currently has three personal care attendants/paraprofessionals who assist with students who need additional support.</p>
