<p>Facilities Technician</p> <p>Reports to: Facilities Supervisor</p> <p>Department: Facilities</p> <p>Job Status: Full Time/ Level 7</p> <p>Mobility Profile: On Location</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Facility Technician provides general building improvements and enhancements to preserve a like-new appearance for the Corporate Office.</p> <p>Duties / Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs on buildings and equipment </li><li>Perform semiskilled tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, etc </li><li>Maintain numerous building systems </li><li>Multi-task on special projects for various business units </li><li>Provide excellent customer service by assisting with various Home Office improvements </li><li>Report maintenance and upkeep concerns to designated supervisors and administrative staff, including lawn and garden </li><li>Develop and review procedures for property maintenance </li><li>Review and monitor maintenance documentation and reporting requirements </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Maintain some working knowledge of facility support systems: HVAC, boilers, and cooling towers. </li><li>Carpentry skills </li><li>Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems </li><li>Detail oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines, complete tasks timely and follow up as needed </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. </li><li>Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc. </li><li>Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person.
