<p>Software QA engineer, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications with 7+ years' experience. Solid functional skills and experience testing software for Client Server applications. Will be coordinating with development, writing test cases, executing tests, helping build our automated testing tools and scripts, working with a remote QA team, helping support QA environment, and actually doing various levels of testing the products. 7+ years' experience in Software QA with recent work in the investment/trading space working, preferably on Forex trading apps, Experience with large, complex business applications (distributed systems) a strong plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications acceptable. Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Solid understanding of SDLC especially in Agile. Experience in databases is a must. Extensive experience with data extraction, Transformation and loading data from various sources like Oracle, SQL Server and Flat files. Experience in writing complex oracle sql queries, Unix commands and shell scripting. Strong skills in Data Migration, Data Analysis, Data Requirement Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes. Knowledge in Data Warehousing, Data Validations, UNIX, SQL, XML, Oracle and ETL. Experience with test management tool like ALM, requirement/ Bug tracking tool JIRA, python scripting to automate ETL data warehouse testing. Experience with web services, REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML. Experience with FIX or SWIFT, testing order management systems is a plus. Experience with Web Services testing. Strong working knowledge of software build and release management processes such as maintaining QA environment would be a plus.
