As a Brewing Apprentice in the Brewing Department, you will be expected to perform all of the same tasks and responsibilities of a regular, full-time employee. Brewing Apprentices are a critical part of our workforce, by monitoring quality, interpreting data, and improving upon processes to ensure we're operating the best we can.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate Brewing beer production systems and equipment including Grains Unloading, Brewhouse, Rementation, Secondary Aging, Filtration, and Flavored Alcoholic Beverage processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for Brewing process management, housekeeping, and sanitation.</p> </li><li> <p>Job duties will include managing or controlling brewing systems, driving fork trucks, recording process data, and troubleshooting and responding to all activities that occur during shift of responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and sanitation practices are followed at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain plant safety and quality requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Function in a lean manufacturing work environment using problem solving tools to optimize processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to perform basic troubleshooting and ability to communicate at all levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to perform industrial cleaning, sanitation and quality checks.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).</p> </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be at least 18 years old</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a high school diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred 2 year or greater degree or brewing experience</p> </li><li> <p>Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.</p> </li><li> <p>Computer experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures and climates.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical requirements of the position include continuous standing, bending, lifting and pushing.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic mathematic and scientific knowledge, technical skills, decision-making skills and presentation skills required.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a positive work attitude and be self-motivated.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to operate in a team-oriented environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:</p> <p>At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
