<p>Job Title: Civil Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join our dynamic team as a Water Resources Engineer where you will play a vital role in supporting green infrastructure and community redevelopment projects in and around Baltimore City, Maryland. You will be instrumental in designing green infrastructure projects, including the preparation of stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and site design plans. A strong understanding of stormwater hydrology and hydraulics is essential. For those with experience, proficiency in BMP design and preparing construction documents using AutoCAD or Microstation is highly desirable. We are looking for passionate individuals committed to promoting innovative and equitable urban design solutions for community greening and revitalization.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and prepare stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and site design plans. </li><li>Support the development of green infrastructure projects. </li><li>Utilize AutoCAD and Microstation for preparing construction documents. </li><li>Travel to and work from the Baltimore City, Maryland office. </li><li>Promote innovative and equitable urban design solutions. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in civil engineering, specifically in stormwater, site development, and water resources. </li><li>Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation. </li><li>At least 1 year of experience with AutoCAD. </li><li>Knowledge of stormwater hydrology and hydraulics. </li><li>Ability to complete and analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models (TR-55, TR-20, HEC-RAS or similar). </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>BS in Civil Engineering, Biological, Agricultural, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering. </li><li>Master's degree, EIT, or PE designation is a plus. </li><li>Willingness to learn the CityScape process. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Our small company boasts a collaborative environment with 8 employees, fostering close working relationships.
