<p>Having trouble logging in?</p> <p>Contact the Neogov Applicant Support HotlineToll Freeat 1 (855) 524-5627.</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>Anticipated Hire Date will be Fall Semester 2026.</p> <p>This position is responsible for providing effective instruction for assigned courses.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)</p> <ul> <li>Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner </li><li>Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance </li><li>Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour </li><li>Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment </li><li>Assesses, provides feedback, and returns student work in a timely manner </li><li>Informs students regarding his/her grades and progress in the course </li></ul> <p>Creates course content meeting college accessibility guidelines</p> <p>Constructs classroom materials that support the goals of the course</p> <p>Designs curriculum and a schedule of instruction</p> <p>Maintains regular office hours</p> <p>Stays abreast of most current teaching methods and technology in the classroom</p> <p>Uses assessment techniques to improve learning and teaching</p> <p>Serves on college or department committees as needed</p> <p>Attends professional development opportunities when possible</p> <p>Assists with establishing goals and objectives for the course, selecting text and constructing a syllabus</p> <p>Maintains communication with instructors from other divisions in order to keep courses up-to-date and appropriate</p> <p>Participate in graduation exercises</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Master's degree in Psychology OR a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Psychology</p> <p>Unofficial college transcripts must be uploaded with your application or submitted to the HR office prior to consideration for interview.</p> <p>PREFERENCES:</p> <p>Community College teaching background</p> <p>Teaching experience in Developmental Psychology and Interpersonal Psychology or General Psychology preferred</p> <p>Online teaching experience</p> <p>As an equal employment opportunity employer, Wake Tech values our workforce.
