<p>? About the Role</p> <p>We're looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to help design the next generation of high-performance automation equipment. This role involves system-level architecture and detailed electrical subsystem design, including analog sensing, motion control, and mixed-signal electronics.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Architect and design advanced pick-and-place automation systems </li><li>Lead development milestones and become a subject matter expert </li><li>Review product test methods, fixtures, and qualification results </li><li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance </li><li>Support prototyping, debugging, validation testing, and manufacturing </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) </li><li>4+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design </li><li>Expertise in voltage regulators, op-amps, comparators, buck converters, and LDOs </li><li>Proficiency with Altium Designer (SOLIDWORKS Electrical is a plus) </li><li>Skilled with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering tools, etc. </li><li>Team lead or mentorship experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Traits</p> <ul> <li>Strong system-level thinking and design skills </li><li>Comfortable switching between high-level goals and detailed design </li><li>Skilled in developing and debugging electronic/electromechanical systems </li><li>Experience with processors, FPGAs, sensors, actuators, and mixed-signal circuits </li><li>Confident in design, simulation, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support </li></ul> <p>Physical & Communication Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to interpret complex technical documents and drawings </li><li>Strong communication skills for collaboration and presentations </li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally (<10%) </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $117000.00/yr.</p> <p>https://www.uic.com/benefits-and-compensation/</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully onsite position in Charlotte,NC.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Sep 8, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
