<p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>20% Support the coaching efforts during competitive soccer matches. </li><li>35% Attend practices and workouts to assist with the training and preparation of student athletes for competition. </li><li>15% Assist with the recruitment of highly skilled players and support the search and evaluation process for all prospective student athletes. </li><li>10% Provide assistance in acquiring soccer equipment and ensuring departmental compliance with NCAA guidelines. </li><li>10% Support the public relations initiatives of the department while maintaining positive relationships with alumni, students and parents. Encourage community involvement and promotes University pride. </li><li>10% Assist in monitoring the academic progress of student athletes and provides counseling and advisement services to students when necessary. </li></ul> <p>Additional Position Information:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Requires a minimum of 1 year experience playing and/or coaching soccer at the NCAA Division I level. Understanding of recruitment procedures and the technical fundamentals and principles of soccer required.
