Consider an exciting opportunity as part of our Customer Relations & Operations team.</p> <p>Operations Specialist</p> <p>The Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily electronic transaction processing, including EIM entries, chargebacks, and wire transfers, while ensuring accuracy,</p> <p>and operational efficiency. This position provides support across key function, contributes to process improvements and upholds confidentiality standards.</p> <p>In addition, this position collaborates on special projects and ensures timely, compliant customer communications.</p> <p>The qualified candidate will have over two years experience in banking operations, with a focus on transaction processing and regulatory compliance, demonstrated</p> <p>success in problem solving and a strong knowledge of retail products and services. Provides support across key functions, contributes to process improvements, and upholds confidentiality standards. Collaborates on special projects and ensures timely, compliant customer communications.</p> <p>Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the daily processing of Electronic Item Management (EIM) entries, chargebacks, and non-post transactions with precision and attention to detail. </li><li>Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely execution in accordance with internal policies and procedures. </li><li>Assist in preparing and reviewing Bounce Protection account disclosures and customer communications, ensuring all follow-up actions are timely and compliant. </li><li>Provide dependable backup support across key operational functions to help maintain seamless daily workflows. </li><li>Contribute ideas and recommend process improvements to enhance team efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery. </li><li>Collaborate on special projects and time-sensitive initiatives that drive continuous improvement within the department. </li><li>Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive customer information. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Critical Thinking - Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to customer inquiries. Leverages Excel and data analysis skills to support reporting, identify trends, and drive process improvements. </li><li>Written / Electronic Communication - Communicates effectively both verbal and written as appropriate for the needs of the audience. </li><li>Verbal Communication - Conveys information respectfully and intelligently by verbally communicating information and ideas so that others understand. </li><li>Motivation - Is self-motivated, and has the ability to motivate co-workers to develop successful relationships with all customers and staff members. </li><li>Creativity and Innovation - Develops new and original ideas that foster growth and efficiency within retail banking and the customer care arena. </li><li>Dedication and Involvement - Is involved with the Solvay Bank Community and Staff. </li></ul> <p>Experience and Education:</p> <ul> <li>Over two years of hands-on experience in banking operations, with a focus on transaction processing and regulatory compliance. </li><li>Demonstrated success in problem resolution </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of retail products and services </li><li>Ability to cultivate and sustain strong customer relationships </li><li>Understands Solvay Bank Work Values and visibly exhibits these values in daily approach to work and work relationships </li></ul> <p>Non-Exempt 06/2025</p>
