<p>Description</p> <p>The Facilities Scheduler (Utilities) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing preventative and corrective maintenance activities for critical utility systems. This role ensures minimal disruption to manufacturing operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory and reliability requirements.</p> <p>Specific Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain weekly and long-range schedules for utility-related maintenance activities </li><li>Coordinate work orders for: </li></ul> <p>HVAC systems</p> <p>Clean utilities (WFI, purified water, clean steam, compressed air)</p> <p>Plant utilities (chilled water, boilers, cooling towers, electrical systems)</p> <ul> <li>Balance preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and calibration activities </li><li>Ensure proper sequencing and prioritization of work based on: </li></ul> <p>Criticality of systems</p> <p>Production schedules</p> <p>Risk and compliance requirements</p> <ul> <li>Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., Hexagon like-Maximo, Blue Mountain) </li><li>Create, update, and manage: </li></ul> <p>Work orders</p> <p>Job plans</p> <p>Equipment records</p> <p>Preventive maintenance schedules</p> <ul> <li>Track backlog, schedule compliance, and completion rates </li><li>Ensure accurate documentation for audit readiness </li><li>Collaborate with: </li></ul> <p>Facilities & utilities technicians</p> <p>Outside Vendors</p> <p>Manufacturing/operations teams</p> <p>Quality assurance (QA)</p> <p>Engineering and validation teams</p> <ul> <li>Align maintenance activities with production windows and shutdowns </li><li>Coordinate shutdowns, outages, and major maintenance events </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to build optimized weekly and long-range maintenance schedules in Excel </li><li>Balances PMs, corrective work, and emergent tasks </li><li>Understands resource loading and sequencing </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management - Nice to Have </li><li>Highschool Diploma - Must Have </li><li>3+ years of experience in: </li></ul> <p>Facilities scheduling, planning, or maintenance coordination</p> <p>Pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience with CMMS systems (Infor/Hexagon-- like Maximo, etc.) </li><li>Understanding of utility systems and critical infrastructure - Nice to have </li></ul> <p>Culture Fit (Soft Skills)</p> <ul> <li>Go-getter attitude </li><li>Ability to influence without power (the planner that is partnered with this role has a reputation of being less than motivated to complete tasks.
