<p>General Description: Manage and oversee the maintenance of athletic and sports equipment for interscholastic athletic sports programs</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be available to work before and after the school day and some weekends/holidays </li><li>Knowledge of athletic, mechanical, electronic equipment and supplies </li><li>Knowledge of service ordering and inventory control </li><li>Records maintenance skills </li><li>Organizing and coordinating skills </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with coaches and staff, both in person and electronically </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule equipment room hours of operation to accommodate practices and games of athletic teams </li><li>Determine needs and generate lists to acquire athletic and sports equipment </li><li>Establish, maintain, reconcile uniform and equipment inventory </li><li>Maintain supply records of all equipment rooms </li><li>Perform periodic inventory of stock and bill for lost inventory </li><li>Oversee uniform, equipment distribution and retrieval at the conclusion of each season </li><li>Ensure that all uniforms, related apparel and equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition </li><li>Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Terms of Employment:</p> <ul> <li>Part Time </li><li>School Year Schedule (August - June) </li><li>Up to 19 hours per week </li></ul> <p>Reports to: Athletics Director</p> <p>The Somerville Public Schools does not discriminate in its programs, facilities, or employment or educational opportunities on the basis of race, color, age, religion, disability, pregnancy, home status, marital/civil union status, sex/gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, citizenship status, place of birth, national origin, ancestry, cultural identity, genetics or military status, and does not tolerate any form of retaliation, or bias-based intimidation, threat or harassment that demeans individuals' dignity or interferes with their ability to learn or work.</p>
