<p>McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Department Manager for its Marshalltown office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Positions, instructs and follows safe radiologic procedures. </li><li>Examines imaging studies for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness. </li><li>Administers contrast media per department policies. </li><li>Organizes, plans and directs activities related to patient services and procedures. </li><li>Evaluates, recommends and justifies additions, deletions, changes, and upgrades to Radiology department equipment and services. </li><li>Prepares budgets, oversees purchases of supplies and minor equipment, and monitors revenues an expenses. Collects data , prepares reports, answers correspondence, and compiles statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes. </li><li>Works cooperatively with Clinic Administrators, Directors, Managers, and Supervisors in order to assure smooth interdepartmental interactions. </li><li>Maintains and monitors all functions related to Radiology Department compliance with regulatory programs and accreditations bodies such as State of Iowa, ACR, HIPAA, OSHA, etc. </li><li>Is responsible for all functions related to supervision of Radiology staff including, but not limited to, hiring training, discipline, staff assignments, payroll, annual reviews, etc. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Completion of accredited course in Radiologic Technologist -OR- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology. </li></ul> <p>Certification/Licenses</p> <ul> <li>Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. </li><li>Current BCLS certification. </li><li>Current state permit as General Diagnostic Radiographer. </li></ul> <p>Days: Monday-Friday</p> <p>Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some flexibility</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years experience as Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or clinic radiology department. </li><li>Preferred minimum of 1 year experience as Lead technologist or supervisory experience including administrative, budgetary, and regulatory duties.
