If so, Roosevelt University is seeking a Transfer Admission Counselor who will strengthen our partnerships throughout Chicagoland, and help take our team to the next level. </p> <p>Roosevelt University has a social justice foundation, and our admission team strives towards equity and creating access for students of all backgrounds. This hybrid position reports to the Associate Director of Transfer Admissions. </p> <p>There is an expectation that the Counselor will be on campus at Roosevelt's Schaumburg campus, or at an affiliated University Center, 3 days per week.</p> <p>The Transfer Admission Counselor's primary responsibility is to guide prospective students and families through the transfer review and application process, which includes meeting with prospective students, families, and school partners to assess academic eligibility, discuss academic offerings, and inform individuals of the Roosevelt student experience. The Transfer Counselor will manage an assigned territory of partner schools, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned school partners. </p> <p>The Counselor will travel and attend in-person or virtual events to recruit prospective transfer students, and will review applications for admission. The person in this role will also play a pivotal role in the socialization and growth of Roosevelt's Adult and Continuing Education program, working with faculty and staff to identify and recruit adult students to Roosevelt. Counselors also serve as an initial point of contact for post-admission processes to supplement other offices like Financial Aid Services, Academic Advising, or other student support services to ensure successful matriculation of transfer students.</p> <p>Roosevelt University offers many great benefits.
