The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). </li><li>Perform engineering calculations to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective product development. </li><li>Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and prototypes. </li><li>Generate and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. </li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. </li><li>Evaluate existing products and recommend design improvements or modifications. </li><li>Work with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components. </li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required. </li><li>Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, etc.). </li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. </li><li>Experience with product testing, validation, and root cause analysis. </li><li>Familiarity with GD&T and engineering documentation standards. </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW BERLIN, WI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
