<p>Build trust while creating a sense of belonging and community</p> <p>Seeking dedicated, compassionate leaders with experience in residential living communities supporting people with I/DD</p> <p>Teams are creative and passionate about enriching people's lives with I/DD on a daily basis. Encourage and value independence, while advocating for personal preferences. Dedicated, flexible and knowledgeable in leadership overseeing a community setting. This position ensures proper staffing ratios, hiring and training, as well as supervision and evaluation of team members.</p> <p>Essential job functions include:</p> <p>Hire, train, supervise, evaluate and address concerns with team members as they arise, while upholding professional and supportive communication. Must be reliable, trustworthy and a self-starter.</p> <p>Ensure person-centered activities that provide opportunities to fulfill their dreams, wishes and interests. Promote community integration and social activities. Respect the basic needs of people supported to assist with cultivating relationships.</p> <p>Assist with finances, home and vehicle maintenance, safety and oversight of community and residential settings. Oversee that documentation and charting is completed and organized.</p> <p>Model and teach intervention techniques developed and recommended by the behavioral health team. Effectively communicates with families, guardians and team members to ensure quality service delivery.</p> <p>Proven ability to demonstrate tact, good judgment, and initiative in interactions. Exhibits professional demeanor in language, dress and behavior. Provide on-call support as required.</p> <p>Essential Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 to 2 years' leadership experience supporting people with IDD in their homes and surrounding community. </li><li>2 to 3 years' experience as a Direct Support Professional. </li><li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving background. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. </li><li>Computer literacy required. </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Full Time</p> <p>Location: creating a sense of belonging and community.
