<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Associate Director, Campus Maintenance and Operations, the Facilities Preventative Maintenance Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Leads in planning and implementing effective and efficient preventative maintenance for UK Campus buildings, facilities, systems, and equipment </li><li>Provides work management and administrative direction for scheduled preventative maintenance tasks </li><li>Communicates and meets routinely with Facilities Management - Campus Maintenance Managers to define and prioritize needs </li><li>Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to be measured to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded in accordance with established procedures and processes </li><li>Oversees and manages preventative maintenance schedules, frequencies, and equipment types as well as the activation and deactivation of equipment </li><li>Utilizing established systems (SAP PM), ensures preventative maintenance tasks, schedules, and completions are monitored for compliance with requirements and communicated directly with staff members </li><li>Collaborates with Preventative Maintenance Technicians to generate and update daily work orders in SAP, ensuring accurate and complete information </li><li>Closes daily work orders by documenting accurate information of work performed, time to perform, parts used, and equipment work was performed on, etc. </li><li>Analyzes information, uses logic, and develops new ideas and answers to address work-related issues and/or problems </li><li>Adheres to established University procedures and policies, and stays current on changing policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>In addition, this position:</p> <ul> <li>Directly supervises assigned preventative maintenance staff </li><li>Proactively and regularly initiates contact with customers and clients </li><li>Ensures the highest quality standards are implemented and maintained </li><li>Complies with all local, state, and federal regulations </li></ul> <p>Internal Employee Being Considered</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p> <p>MS Windows/Office; SAP; KRONOS</p> <p>Knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses and repair - Preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge of buildings and construction materials, methods, technical plans, blueprints, and drawings - Preferred.</p> <p>Driver's License - Preferred.</p> <p>Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
