<p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Escrow Assistant to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting escrow officers and ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely real estate closings. The ideal candidate will be customer-service driven, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and committed to accuracy and compliance.</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Assist escrow officers in preparing, reviewing, and processing escrow documents.• Open, set up, and maintain escrow files with accuracy.• Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to collect required information and documents.• Prepare settlement statements and balance files.• Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards.• Handle funds disbursement and maintain accurate records.• Provide excellent customer service and act as a professional point of contact throughout the closing process.• Perform other related administrative and clerical duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, real estate, or related field preferred.• Previous escrow, title, or real estate experience strongly preferred but not required for the right candidate. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer service. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities • Assist escrow officers in preparing, reviewing, and processing escrow documents. • Open, set up, and maintain escrow files with accuracy. • Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to collect required information and documents. • Prepare settlement statements and balance files. • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards. • Handle funds disbursement and maintain accurate records. • Provide excellent customer service and act as a professional point of contact throughout the closing process. • Perform other related administrative and clerical duties as assigned.</p>
