Responsible for auditing and inspecting for regulatory compliance, quality and safety initiatives. Has working knowledge of office based policy, procedure and protocols to assist practice staff with clinical workflow.</p> <p>Primary Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Audit, inspect, collect and track clinical data for regulatory compliance, quality and safety metrics. </li><li>Assists with education to practice staff for office based testing and clinical office equipment. </li><li>Works with clinical team to identify problems related to clinical workflow management in physician offices and assist with LEAN operations to facilitate improvements. </li><li>Provides education to physician office staff to support quality improvement, safety and efficiency. </li><li>Co-instructor for New Employee Orientation Clinical Training class. </li><li>Co-instructor for MA Training Program Clinical training as well as administrative support for the program. </li><li>Coordinates physician practice moves, openings and closings. </li><li>Provides MyLearning support for PPG offices. </li><li>Participates in special projects as assigned by clinical leadership team. </li><li>Communicates and maintains effective interpersonal relationships with physicians, patients, and other health care team members. Facilitates team effort in the delivery of quality care and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Develops material for and delivers education at all annual PPG Competency Blitz. </li><li>Represents PPG on various system committees. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be a high school graduate or its equivalent. </li><li>Completion of a recognized MA program at an accredited college or university or equivalent with minimum of one year working in a physician's office or related health care setting is required. </li><li>Proficiency of Microsoft applications required. </li><li>Working knowledge of office based regulatory requirements. </li><li>MA certification required. </li></ul> <p>ProMedica is a mission-based, not-for-profit integrated healthcare organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
