This role brings hospital-level care directly into patients' homes, supporting recovery in a familiar, comfortable environment.</p> <p>Our service area for this region includes Boston and surrounding communities such as Framingham, Natick, Newton, Dedham, Quincy, Sharon, and nearby towns.</p> <p>As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will support nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians in delivering safe, high-quality patient care across the region while contributing to a model of care that is reshaping how patients receive treatment at home.</p> <p>Scheduling Expectations</p> <p>This per diem role offers flexible scheduling while keeping you connected to meaningful clinical work. Team members are asked to commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per month (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM), with two of those falling on a weekend day. You'll also be part of our supportive coverage team by working one winter holiday and one summer holiday each year.</p> <p>In this role, you'll help provide essential coverage for call-outs and pre-planned time off, making a real difference in ensuring our patients receive seamless, high-quality care.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>In this dynamic mobile position, you will provide hands-on clinical support during in-home visits, including:</p> <ul> <li>Performing lab draws and specimen collection (training provided as needed) </li><li>Conducting point-of-care testing and documenting results </li><li>Assisting nurses with patient admissions and initial assessments </li><li>Setting up, delivering, and helping troubleshoot home medical equipment </li><li>Obtaining and recording vital signs and patient information </li><li>Supporting complex wound care, including positioning and supply preparation </li><li>Reinforcing patient education and helping explain care instructions </li><li>Ensuring timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record </li><li>Collaborating closely with RNs, NPs, physicians, and other team members </li></ul> <p>This role offers autonomy, variety, and a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful, patient-centered care directly in the home.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>A valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation are required for home visits.
