This role requires an advanced understanding of analytical techniques, synthesis processes, and instrumentation used for chemical characterization. The Chemist IV is expected to operate with high independence, drive innovation, and support cross-functional collaborations to meet technical and business objectives</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct advanced data analysis and interpretation in oleo chemistry and petrochemistry, translating findings into actionable insights.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform and optimize Gas Chromatography (GC), Liquid Chromatography (LC), potentiometric titrations, and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analyses.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, validate, and troubleshoot analytical methods while maintaining GC, LC, and titration systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Transfer projects globally across four sites, ensuring smooth implementation and regulatory compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate and qualify new raw materials for cost savings, sustainability, and process improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and regulatory teams, ensuring technical alignment and operational efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Engage in customer and industry interactions, presenting research at trade associations (e.g., AOCS) and contributing to industry advancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain laboratory safety standards, participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), and implement digitalization tools for efficiency improvements.</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>PhD in Chemistry or related field with 0-1 year experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience in industrial chemistry.</p> </li><li> <p>3 years of experience in chemical data analysis and interpretation. (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong proficiency in GC and LC techniques, including chromatogram interpretation and compound quantification. (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in titrator and chromatographic software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting. (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of OpenLab and MassHunter software. (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain GC, LC, and titration systems.
