External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.</p> <p>Your role:</p> <p>As Corporate Counsel in the Life Science legal department, you will act as a valued business partner to various business groups within MilliporeSigma, which offers a broad portfolio of scientific products and tools for customers across academia, pharma, industrial, testing, and diagnostics.</p> <p>You will provide a full range of legal support for commercial, product marketing and other business enabling organizations (e.g. procurement, sustainability, regulatory) drafting and negotiating various agreements, providing guidance to business leaders on relevant legal and business matters, reviewing, evaluating, and advising internal clients on business opportunities and process improvements, identifying and mitigating risk, coordinating and leading outside counsel for vital topics, and training colleagues and internal clients on related legal issues and standards. You will also provide support for business development opportunities and other company/department priorities.</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: JD or equivalent </li><li>Experience as a US-qualified lawyer working at large law firm or multinational corporate legal department, minimum three (3) years preferred </li><li>Curious, self-motivated, and work well both individually and collaboratively as part of a team </li><li>Ability to spot issues and to propose a range of potential solutions within a reasonable risk profile </li><li>Agile team player with a flexible mindset and excellent communication skills </li><li>Business-oriented with pragmatic problem-solving skills </li><li>Curious, and have a strong desire to learn about technology and products </li></ul> <p>Location: Burlington, MA, USA; Onsite (Hybrid)</p> <p>Travel: <10%; International and Domestic</p> <p>Pay range for this position: $158,800.00 - $238,100.00</p> <p>The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
