<p>Currently there is an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic II in our Facilities division on 1st shift (6:30AM to 2:30PM Monday-Friday). This position will ensure that all plant equipment and machinery is maintained in working order. Build and rebuild equipment to meet manufacturing needs. Perform general building and site maintenance.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain all equipment in the Business unit </li><li>Keep all equipment in safe operating conditions </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance </li><li>Install new equipment as required </li><li>Minor repairs to fork trucks as required </li><li>Perform safety inspections on all equipment </li><li>Schedule repair work on equipment based on production needs </li><li>Troubleshoot basic electrical problems and some basic controls, such as motor starters, relays, motors, fuses. </li><li>Fabricate fixtures, guards or parts to maintain or improve the equipment </li><li>Perform typical electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, or machine work to maintain the equipment </li><li>Make out purchase requisitions for repair parts and replacement stock items </li><li>Look for opportunities to improve equipment efficiency or process improvements </li><li>Maintain all records of repairs made to equipment </li><li>Work independently with little supervision </li><li>Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery </li><li>Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods </li><li>Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner </li><li>Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times </li><li>Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance </li><li>Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>1 to 2 years of progressively more responsible maintenance experience </li><li>HVAC experience preferred </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work overtime </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Plascore is an established global manufacturer of honeycomb core, composite structures, and cleanrooms.
