As experts in healthcare IT experts, Apex is committed to building systems for healthcare organizations to seamlessly communicate and exchange data across different systems and devices.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Technician Instructor/Trainer (I/T).</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine scheduled and unscheduled services on a variety of military medical material equipment </li><li>Trains students in the use of TMDE and service procedures on medical equipment found in military Medical Material Sets and Dental Equipment Sets </li><li>Performs all aspects of set-up and recovery of medical equipment in a classroom and field environment </li><li>Serves as a primary instructor on 2D/ 3D computer design software (ex: AutoDise) as it pertains to biomedical set-up planning, equipment and 3D component printing </li><li>Provides cross training to staff on the proper use if medical equipment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Necessary Skills and Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate </li><li>Mastery level knowledge in MS Office suite of applications </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Must be proficient with common Microsoft Windows operating systems and possess a working knowledge of current automated medical maintenance systems used by the Army </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in bio-medical equipment maintenance or equivalent or have 5 years of experience in bio-medical equipment maintenance within the past 10 years </li><li>At least three (3) or more years of recent experience as a medical equipment repairer. experience with DEPMEDS and field medical unit equipment is desirable. experience with ARs/publications that specify medical equipment maintenance standards is a plus </li><li>Completion of the DoD Biomedical Equipment Repair (U.S. Army MOS 68A) course, or equivalent military or civilian training, is required. Military trained personnel that perform maintenance services and repairs of all medical equipment are called Medical Equipment Repairers </li><li>Must be computer literate and capable of learning the GCSS-Army system authorized for use by the site </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license </li><li>Forklift certified or certified within 180 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
