<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Tactical Command and Control (TacC2) Specialist to support the U.S. Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) mission of developing and fielding dominant space capabilities. This program provides engineering development and integration expertise in support of various capabilities that protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team serves at the forefront of this mission area, advising and assisting the Government with their architecture and full lifecycle systems engineering processes that enable capability delivery to meet warfighter needs.</p> <p>Location: El Segundo, CA.</p> <p>Responsibilities for Tactical Satellite C2 Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Decompose functions related to Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) into TacC2 requirements and assist with development and fielding of cloud-based solutions to plan and execute USSF protect and defend missions. </li><li>Maintain and leverage technical expertise in relevant industry standards for cloud computing and virtualization technologies, cloud deployment techniques, and cloud service models (e.g., infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service). </li><li>Assist in performance of functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate TacC2 requirements into Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Statements of Work (SOW), Technical Requirements Documents (TRD), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and architecture products. </li><li>Provide technical engineering support to Government Program Manager (GPM) to assess program progress and identify issues within TacC2 development, verification, deployment, operations, and sustainment; provide technical and programmatic status and recommendations for improvements to GPM. </li><li>Develop and deliver documents and briefings to communicate work or study status and brief government and industry as required. </li><li>Ensure TacC2 solutions meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for Tactical Satellite C2 Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 7 years of experience </li><li>Tactical Command and Control systems and subsystems, including mission tasking, mission planning, space vehicle commanding, telemetry processing, mission data processing, data dissemination, and mission reporting. </li><li>Cloud-based solutions, architecture, and technologies. </li><li>Agile software development. </li><li>DoD RMF. </li><li>Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable). </li><li>Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination. </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in engineering, science or related technical field, with at least seven (7) years' experience. </li><li>Experience within the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area. </li><li>Experience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program office. </li><li>Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, INCOSE CSEP, ITEA CTEP, Agile PM/PO, etc.). </li><li>Experience with USSF Space Warfighting Operations, including Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Offensive Actions and Defensive Actions. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 (compensation varies on position and relevant years of experience and education) </li><li>Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 08/04/2025.
