Design and document technical architecture, ensuring it meets both functional and non-functional project requirements. Evaluate, manage, contribute to, and execute various proofs of concept (POCs) to select appropriate technology platforms, frameworks, and tools supporting the implementation of technical solutions. Create and present architectural designs, prototypes, and technical roadmaps to project teams and stakeholders. Identify, validate, and recommend new technologies and patterns for organizational improvement. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, operational excellence, coding standards, and best practices. Identify and mitigate technical risks, anticipate potential challenges, and propose contingency plans. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the solution is scalable, reliable, secure, and performant. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's technical architecture. Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party vendors and technologies, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and architectural guidelines.</p> <p>What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Demonstrated experience as a Distinguished Architect or similar role, with a strong background in software development and architecture. In-depth knowledge and experience with capabilities such as Identity, Electronic Master Patient Index (EMPI), Consent management, Identity Assurance, and Messaging. Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and high-performance software solutions. Familiarity with architectural patterns, frameworks, and best practices, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and DevOps. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Robust leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams. Experience in Agile development methodologies and practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are advantageous. Proven ability to work within the healthcare sector, understanding compliance and regulatory requirements. Experience with modern identity and privacy frameworks, ensuring reliable and secure handling of sensitive data.
