<p>Validation Engineer CAE</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Our client in Dayton, OH area is looking for a Validation Engineer (CAE). This is a Direct Hire position.</p> <p>The Engineer is responsible for the creating & documentation of modeling plans to the engineering team. They will initiate the new process & tools utilizing FEA & computer engineering programs/software. The Engineer is responsible for overall development, test, evaluation & proving support for mass production startup based on customer requirements. The Engineer will work in cross functional teams within the organization to deliver project that meet customer and company requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Independent FEA modeling setup & model check to ensure accurate analysis </li><li>Create project reports </li><li>Project Management </li><li>Act as a liason between customer and different groups within the company </li><li>Evaluate validation requirement from customer and develop adequate test methods & design jigs </li><li>Create test reports and present to customers </li><li>Lead product testing and coordinate various activities </li><li>Document test procedures, programs and test systems </li><li>Other job duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Suspension components </li><li>Bachelors Degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or related areas. Years of experience in place of degree is acceptable. </li><li>3-5 years of experience preferred. </li><li>Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal & written communication </li><li>Ability to plan & prioritize </li><li>Experience in FEA </li><li>Strong analytical & problem solving skills </li><li>Experience with Catia V5, Hypermesh, Nastran and Abaqus </li><li>Experience with Metal Fatigue </li><li>Blue print reading skills, 2D and 3D drawings </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs. </li></ul>
