We are an equal opportunity employer; no information obtained during the recruitment/selection process is intended for any discriminatory purposes.</p> <p>Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule</p> <p>Grade: 114</p> <p>Salary: $15.52 - $25.44 Hourly (Dependent on Qualifications)</p> <p>Department: Solid Waste Operations, Refuse and Recycling Collection</p> <p>E-mail: MelissaM2@cctexas.com</p> <p>ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Provide household refuse and recycling collection by driving assigned routes through residential streets on automated or semi-automated sanitation collection vehicle.</p> <ul> <li>Supervise assigned recycle collectors by providing instructions/guidance and monitoring their work on assigned routes. </li><li>Report any incident/accident, or injury immediately and complete all applicable forms. </li><li>Comply with all applicable safety rules and procedures. </li><li>Maintain vehicle maintenance by performing pre and post trip inspections. </li><li>Required to perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. </li><li>Responsible to ensure a reasonable level of safety operations for their selves, the public and the environment. </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Requires High School diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience </li><li>A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License is required at time of application </li><li>Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Class B Commercial Texas Driver's License within 90 days of hire. </li></ul> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>The City offers an excellent benefit package that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Texas Municipal Retirement System - the City offers a 2 to 1 match.
