If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply!</p> <p>The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent computer skills, analytical skills and the confidence to make independent decisions to join the Scotts Flight Department as a Pilot.</p> <p>This position is located at Port Columbus Airport (CMH), in Columbus OH.</p> <p>What you'll do in this role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete aircraft specific training on company aircraft</p> </li><li> <p>Perform "Pilot in Command" duties on company aircraft on company assigned trips for domestic and international flights ensuring that all flight planning requirements have been met.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations; as well as company policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Safely conduct all assigned company flights with an emphasis on customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Approximately 450 flight hours per year</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in and conduct Safety and Operational Training</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain aircraft appearance and stock post flight</p> </li><li> <p>Crew will have various non-flying responsibilities related to the operation of the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Data entry</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll need to be successful:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Airline Transport Pilot License</p> </li><li> <p>2000 hours minimum; 500 hours PIC Turbine minimum</p> </li><li> <p>First Class Medical required for international travel</p> </li><li> <p>Citation 525 or Citation Longitude type rating</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent safety record</p> </li><li> <p>FAR Part 91/135 Flight Department experience</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility in their schedule and can deal with a dynamic 24/7, 365 flight operation</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to operate in a demanding and high-change environment while remaining professional at all times</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's Degree focused in Aviation (preferred)</p> </li></ul> <p>The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $156,900.00 - $184,600.00 per year.
