<p>Exciting opportunity for law students to gain valuable in-house legal experience at a large software and SaaS company. The Legal Associates will work with a team of 4 - 6 legal associates, as well as directly with Vertafore's Chief Legal Counsel, Senior Corporate Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, and Senior Paralegal. The primary focus of the Legal Associate will be to review various types of legal contracts in connection with Vertafore's implementation of a new state-of-the-art contract management system.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in software and technology and the workings of an in-house legal team.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Coursework in contracts and experience in a corporate setting are beneficial, although not required. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements and Details:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must sign an NDA and agree to all company policies and procedures prior to start date.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel is not expected in this role.</p> </li><li> <p>Work can be hybrid if located near Vertafore's Denver headquarters.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.</p> </li><li> <p>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent sitting and/or standing.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-DNI</p>
