We are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients we serve.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations for a portfolio of physician-owned medical office buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate management, with a strong emphasis on medical office properties. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a deep understanding of tenant needs in a healthcare environment.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the medical office building(s), ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment. </li><li>Coordinate with Facility Manager and Engineer for vendors and contractors for maintenance, </li><li>Assist with budget preparation and expense management, including bid processes. </li><li>Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, accessibility, and safety. </li><li>Prepare and manage annual property budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals. </li><li>Oversee rent collection, lease compliance, and accounts payable/receivable for properties. </li><li>Review and approve property-related invoices, ensuring accuracy and cost management. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all healthcare facility related regulations and standards. </li><li>Assist with Director of Property on any construction or renovation projects with attention to ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and adherence to deadlines and budgets. </li><li>Coordinate the planning and execution of capital improvement projects. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with commercial lease agreements, preferably healthcare, and real estate technology. </li><li>Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and health safety regulations. </li><li>Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi or similar systems). </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with tenants, contractors, and other outside vendors in a professional manner. </li><li>Ability to analyze and evaluate policies and operations and formulate recommendations. </li><li>Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key contacts for real estate entities. </li><li>Ability to coordinate multiple activities to ensure needs are met in an effective, timely manner. </li><li>Skill in exercising independent judgment. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly. </li><li>Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to complete multiple projects concurrently. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. </li><li>5 years of experience in property management, preferably in medical office buildings or healthcare facilities. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Position will require local travel within tri-state area; valid driver's license required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Activity Required</p> <p>Amount of time</p> <p>None</p> <p>Less than 1/3</p> <p>(Occasionally)</p> <p>1/3 to 2/3</p> <p>(Frequently)</p> <p>More than 2/3</p> <p>(Regularly)</p> <p>Standing</p> <p>X</p> <p>Walking</p> <p>X</p> <p>Sitting</p> <p>X</p> <p>Fingering or manual dexterity</p> <p>X</p> <p>Repetitive finger motion</p> <p>X</p> <p>Lifting or exerting force</p> <p>Up to 10 pounds</p> <p>Up to 25 pounds</p> <p>Up to 50 pounds</p> <p>X</p> <p>Up to 100 pounds</p> <p>Over 100 pounds</p> <p>Reaching or stretching</p> <p>X</p> <p>Climbing or balancing</p> <p>X</p> <p>Crouching or stooping</p> <p>X</p> <p>Speaking</p> <p>X</p> <p>Hearing</p> <p>X</p> <p>Seeing (with correction)</p> <p>X</p>
