<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Specialist to join our team. This role will serve as a key link between our Customer Service and the Finance department, ensuring accurate billing, efficient inventory management, and timely reporting. The candidate should have knowledge of the Customer Service process, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough reviews of invoices through the payment system, ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and prompt resolution of discrepancies. </li><li>Identify opportunities for automating repetitive and manual processes and leverage payment system features to reduce human error and processing time. </li><li>Generate regular and ad hoc reports within the payment system for analysis. </li><li>Assist with month-end closing tasks </li><li>Prepare Customer Service related reports for management purposes. </li><li>Analyze Customer Service operations from all aspects to identify trends inefficiencies, and areas of improvement. </li><li>Spot errors and suggest ways to improve accuracy and efficiency of bookkeeping of Customer Service operation. </li><li>Prepare detailed variance analysis and explanations for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and provide recommendations to support decision-making processes. </li><li>Fulfill requests for external quarterly review and annual audit. </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. </li><li>Assist special projects as required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Excel (must be familiar with PivotTable and vlookup) </li><li>Ability to set tasks, priorities and deadlines </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>3 years of working experience, preferably in a Customer Service or similar environment. </li></ul> <p>$68,640 - $83,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
