The ideal candidate will engage students in the basics of theatre games and techniques, fostering their joy in creative expression; is committed to addressing social justice, diversity, equity, and anti-bias education; will bring tools and strategies for differentiating instruction; will communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues; and will value professional growth.</p> <ul> <li>Teaching load would include teaching sections of fifth and sixth grade drama. </li><li>Selecting, directing, and managing all aspects of production for the Middle School Play, from casting through tech and performances. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>A bachelor's degree and teaching experience are required, master's degree or beyond is preferred.</p> <p>We work in a team-based structure with a high level of communication and collegiality. Active participation in a faculty culture of continuous learning, professional development, and intellectual growth is expected and supported.
