<p>THIS IS A FULL TIME TRAVELING POSITION WHERE THE INITIAL PROJECT IS IN LEXINGTON, KY. A MONTHLY PER DIEM OF $5,000 IS PROVIDED TO COVER TRAVEL AND LODGING COSTS FOR YOURSELF.</p> <p>Job Title: Construction Project Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join our team as a Construction Project Engineer, where you will lead dynamic construction projects to successful completion - ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence. Your first project will be a two-year, $60 million ground-up construction of a new addition to a pharmaceutical manufacturing campus. This role offers a competitive salary with the opportunity for overtime. You will be instrumental in guiding engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams in collaboration with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors. </li><li>Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets. </li><li>Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders. </li><li>Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes. </li><li>Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance. </li><li>Track project costs, invoice preparation, and reporting. </li><li>Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages. </li><li>Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong construction background with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality. </li><li>Experience in construction management and industrial projects. </li><li>Proficiency in document control and RFI processes. </li><li>Strong project management and engineering skills. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline. </li><li>1-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients. </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to manage document control tasks and schedules. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, preferably on $20 million+ GMP projects. </li><li>Large project experience is preferred. </li><li>Strong team-building skills and a robust work ethic. </li><li>Professionalism and good communication skills to meet client demands. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position involves working on a project site in a professional construction setting. The project will initially take place in Kentucky with the potential to relocate to subsequent projects. The role includes a per diem and home rotations, with initial mobilization and demobilization covered. The environment requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, adhering to safety and quality standards, and maintaining effective communication and documentation.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
