<ul> <li> <p>Provide product development from concept to commercialization.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in planning and execution of product concept demonstrations for existing and potential new customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participate in the design and physical production of bench samples that accurately mimic production line capabilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in continuous cost reduction of existing products while protecting or enhancing the organoleptic quality of products.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize statistics to define physical parameters of developed products.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurate data entry and file maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical assistance in production line tests, commercialization of new products, and continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.</p> </li><li> <p>Other relevant duties and projects as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Meat Science or other related fields of study required; Master of Science preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Theoretical knowledge of further processing equipment and packaging</p> </li><li> <p>Bi-lingual language skills preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of statistics</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to work early morning and evening hours and weekends when necessary, and travel (approximately 30%)</p> </li><li> <p>Good communication skills, with ability to work with all levels of management</p> </li></ul>
